Afropunk

I led the creative vision for Target’s presence at Afropunk – a vibrant celebration of life, music, food, and culture within the Black community. Centered around three dimensions of self, our experience invited guests to spark curiosity, engage their senses, and explore an elevated sense of identity and expression. The work honored the spirit of Afropunk while deepening Target’s connection with the community through bold, immersive storytelling.

Brand Moment

In a collaboration with Láolú, Target branding came to life in a unique way with a visually stunning mural. More than just a piece of art; the piece takes you on a mesmerizing journey that weds Yoruba mythology to our human consciousness.

Mantra Wall

Designed to inspire, ground, and connect, the wall served as a reminder of who we are, what we believe, and the spirit we bring to everything we do. Through intentional language, typography, and color, the installation transforms a physical space into a powerful moment of reflection and motivation.

Self Expression

Through an interactive light-painting photo booth, guests became part of the artwork – crafting personalized, social-ready images in real time.

Self Care

We highlighted Black-owned brands and products through a visually rich and creatively curated presentation.

Self Charge

We provided a relaxing oasis lounge for guests to kick back and re-charge their bodies — and their devices.
